Job Description
The CCAC National Project Coordinator will play a vital role in advancing South Africa’s national strategies for Short-Lived Climate Pollutants (SLCP) by supporting the planning and implementation of integrated actions aimed at reducing emissions. This position involves enhancing the government’s capacity to develop and execute a National Clean Air Action Plan while fostering collaboration among key stakeholders. The Coordinator will assist in conducting assessments, providing technical support, and promoting awareness of SLCP issues throughout various government levels. This role is crucial for linking SLCP strategies with broader climate initiatives over a contract period of 12 months based in South Africa. 🌍💨
