Join our team as a Individual Contractor (IC) to provide essential paramedical support for the UNVMC, especially in remote areas where medical missions take place. Your role will involve submitting monthly progress reports in electronic format, detailing medical activities, statistics, and significant incidents, while maintaining compliance with UN standards. You’ll also deliver services, respond to emergencies, plan medical supplies, and conduct training for staff while ensuring ethical and professional standards are upheld. The position requires certifications as a Paramedic or Prehospital Care Technician, along with experience in emergency medical care. Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, and knowledge of English is a plus. This opportunity is set in locations like Tibu, Santander de Quilichao, San Vicente del Caguan, and Quibdo, with an expected duration until the end of 2025. 🏥🌍
