Job Description
Join us in Nairobi for a 6-month internship with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), where you will contribute to important environmental initiatives and support the Ecosystems Division. As a Programme Intern, you’ll work closely with a talented team to assist in sustainable nutrient management and address key issues affecting terrestrial, freshwater, and marine ecosystems. Your tasks will include organizing workshops, conducting research, creating multimedia content, and supporting engagement activities with stakeholders. This experience is perfect for master’s or Ph.D. students, or final-year undergraduates in relevant fields. You should be fluent in English, with knowledge of French being an asset. While this internship is unpaid, it offers a unique opportunity to engage with global environmental challenges and the ideals of the UN. šš Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations.
