Job Description
The Associate Human Rights Officer position is based in the Office of the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Dhaka, Bangladesh, reporting to the Human Rights Officer with general oversight from the Senior Human Rights Advisor. In this role, you will monitor crucial human rights activities, conduct in-depth legal research, and assist in developing training programs for national and civil society actors. Your responsibilities include gathering and analyzing human rights data, participating in trials, and collaborating with various stakeholders to promote awareness and capacity building. Ideal candidates should have a relevant advanced degree and either experience or a strong background in human rights issues, and must be proficient in English and Bengali. 🌍✊ THIS POSITION IS TEMPORARILY AVAILABLE UNTIL 31 DECEMBER 2025 – WITH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS.
