Job Description

The Assistant Human Rights Officer will work in the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) within the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine (HRMMU), particularly in Odesa, Dnipro, and Kharkiv. This role involves researching and analyzing human rights issues, drafting reports, and supporting advocacy efforts for vulnerable groups. The successful candidate will collaborate with local authorities and NGOs, ensuring information is handled safely and effectively. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience in human rights or related areas. Fluency in English, Ukrainian, and Russian is essential. This temporary position is available for six months, with a possibility of extension. 🌍📄🤝
