The Associate Communications Officer plays a vital role in supporting the UN Resident Coordinator Office in Paramaribo, Suriname, by implementing communication strategies that effectively engage diverse audiences and promote sustainable development goals 🌍. This position involves creating and producing communication materials like press releases, web stories, and social media content, while also managing relationships with stakeholders, including UN agencies and local communities 🤝. The role requires a commitment to gender equality and the ability to tailor messages for various platforms to maximize impact 📣. Candidates should have an advanced degree in communication or related fields, fluency in English and Dutch, and at least two years of relevant experience in communications.
