Job Description

The Associate Human Rights Officer position is an opportunity within the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Geneva, focusing on supporting humanitarian funds and human rights initiatives. You will manage grant portfolios, assist with civil society projects, conduct important research on human rights issues, prepare various reports, and engage in training programs to promote national capacity building. Strong teamwork, planning, and organizational skills are essential, as well as a commitment to integrating gender perspectives in all activities. A Master’s degree in relevant fields and at least two years of experience in human rights or related areas are required. Fluency in English and knowledge of French are necessary. 🌍✊
