Associate Human Rights Officer
Job Description
The Associate Human Rights Officer position is available at the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), specifically within the OHCHR/MONUSCO Joint Human Rights Office (UNJHRO). This role involves researching and analyzing human rights information, engaging with authorities to address violations, and liaising with various stakeholders to monitor human rights situations. The officer will contribute to investigations, training programs, and ensure gender perspectives are integrated into all activities. A Master’s degree in a relevant field and at least two years of experience in human rights or related areas are required. Proficiency in French and knowledge of English are essential. 🌍✨
