Job Description

The Green and Inclusive Value Chains (GIVC) section is seeking an Associate Programme Officer to support the development and implementation of sustainable market solutions for smallholder farmers and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This role, under the supervision of the Technical Adviser, involves collaborating with clients, monitoring projects, conducting research, providing policy support, and facilitating workshops in the digital technologies and agribusiness sectors across various African countries. You will contribute to improving competitiveness in local value chains, particularly in the cashew nut sector, with an emphasis on digitalization. Candidates should have a Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields, fluency in English and French, and experience in agricultural value chain development is preferred.
