ASYCUDA Consultant (international trade and private sector development)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled consultant to enhance trade facilitation in Afghanistan by mapping business opportunities and strengthening the capacities of Afghan traders, especially focusing on micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and industrial parks. This home-based role, from September 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, will involve collaborating with the ASYCUDA local team and UNDP to develop a Cluster Development Handbook, outline capacity-building modules, and report on survey findings. Ideal candidates will have a Master’s degree in Social Sciences (PhD preferred), at least 7 years of relevant experience, and fluency in English; knowledge of Pashto and Dari is a plus.
