Job Description

The Capacity Needs and Priority Assessment Consultant will play a key role in assessing the capabilities and priorities of Latin American States regarding the BBNJ Agreement, focusing on its implementation and capacity barriers. This home-based position, which may require some travel, spans 40 days over four months. The consultant will engage with stakeholders, develop a comprehensive report of findings, and provide analyses in line with United Nations standards. To succeed, candidates should possess an advanced degree in relevant fields, at least five years of experience in ocean affairs, and fluency in both English and Spanish.
