Job Description

The CCAC International SLCP Expert will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies for Short-Lived Climate Pollutants (SLCPs) in Bhutan. This position involves collaborating with the National SLCP Expert to create emissions inventories, conduct mitigation assessments, and analyze co-benefits while ensuring adherence to international best practices. You will assist in integrating SLCP actions into Bhutan’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) and other relevant plans by proposing actionable policy recommendations. Additionally, you will establish a robust monitoring and reporting framework aligned with the Paris Agreement and engage stakeholders across various sectors to drive awareness and action on SLCPs. This remote consultancy offers a duration of 6 months to help push Bhutan’s climate agenda forward! 🌍✨
