Job Description
The CCAC International SLCP Expert will play a crucial role in assisting the Government of Iraq in integrating key short-lived climate pollutants (SLCP), particularly methane, into its revised Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) by 2025. 🌍 This position involves enhancing climate policy capabilities, providing technical expertise in SLCP data and analytics, and fostering collaboration with government entities and stakeholders. The expert will also develop a comprehensive capacity-building program targeting decision-makers, ensuring effective action on SLCPs while mapping necessary resources and best practices. This remote position is expected to last for 9 months and requires fluency in both English and Arabic. 🌱
