Job Description
The United Nations is seeking applicants for an internship with the Civil Affairs Team within the Policy and Best Practices Service (PBPS) located in New York City. This unpaid position offers a flexible work arrangement, allowing for hybrid, remote, or in-person participation, with an expected duration of six months starting July 1, 2025, or earlier. Interns will engage in meaningful tasks such as researching policy topics, preparing reports, assisting in communication strategies, and supporting project management. Ideal candidates are graduate students or recent graduates with a background in relevant fields, strong research and analytical skills, and proficiency in English; knowledge of additional UN languages is a plus.
