Join us as a Communications Intern at the United Nations Resident Coordination Office in Colombo 🌏! This 6-month internship starts on September 1, 2025, where you’ll work closely with the Communications and Advocacy Officer to help design and implement communication strategies that support the UN’s goals for sustainable development. Your responsibilities will include creating engaging audio-visual content, managing social media platforms, assisting with event organization, and updating the UN Sri Lanka website. We’re looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in international relations, communications, or related fields, who are creative with tools like Canva and have a solid understanding of social media trends. English fluency is a must, and knowledge of local languages is a plus. Please note that this is an unpaid internship, so your travel and living expenses will need to be covered independently.
