Job Description

The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) is seeking a consultant for a 5-month position in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, focused on enhancing the country’s multi-hazard early warning system (MHEWS). This role involves improving collaboration among national institutions and engaging with international stakeholders to strengthen disaster risk governance. The successful candidate will contribute to formulating a national data governance framework, develop a centralized Disaster Tracking System, and enhance reporting on disaster targets while ensuring effective communication and preparation for response. A master’s degree in a related field and at least two years of experience in disaster risk reduction or information management are required.
