Join the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) in Port-au-Prince, Haiti for a 5-month consultancy role focusing on the vital improvement of Haiti’s Multi-Hazard Early Warning Systems (MHEWS). Your mission will involve enhancing coordination among national institutions and stakeholders to develop an effective legal framework, operational guidelines, and risk assessment protocols. This is crucial for strengthening disaster preparedness and resilience in a country vulnerable to various hazards. Ideal candidates should hold an advanced degree in civil engineering, climate change, or related fields, with relevant experience in disaster risk management.
