Job Description

The Consultant on Cultural Policies will report directly to the Head of the Brazil Office and the Officer-in-Charge of the Southern Cone Office, collaborating closely with UN-Habitat teams to create effective cultural governance strategies. This is a remote position for three months, focused on enhancing São Gonçalo’s cultural policies through data-driven analysis and stakeholder engagement. The consultant will develop a comprehensive work plan, evaluate public funding initiatives, and produce a thematic analysis booklet aimed at improving cultural governance in line with the Sustainable Development Goals. Ideal candidates should have a background in Cultural Management or related fields, significant experience in policy analysis, and fluency in Portuguese. 🌍📊✍️
