Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Consultant to join our team on the project “Preventing and Addressing Trafficking in Human Beings and Smuggling of Migrants in South Asia” (THB-SOM in SA) from 15 September 2025 to 25 October 2025. In this home-based position, you will work under the guidance of the Program Coordinator to provide crucial support in revising the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the Border Surveillance Unit (BSU) in Sri Lanka. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and updating the SOP, offering technical input, and training staff from the Department of Immigration and Emigration on enhanced practices to combat human trafficking and smuggling. Ideal candidates will possess an advanced degree in relevant fields, extensive experience in criminal justice, and knowledge of the complexities surrounding human trafficking.
