Consultant to deliver a training for customs and border control officers on the Basel Convention and Plastic Waste Amendments in Rwanda and Zimbabwe (focus on customs matters)
Job Description
Join the United Nations Environment Programme as a key contributor in developing and delivering training workshops on environmental enforcement in Zimbabwe and Rwanda. Your role will include creating tailored presentations and practical exercises on customs procedures and the implementation of the Plastic Waste Amendments. With a focus on enhancing national capacities, you will support six workshops that ensure compliance with the Basel Convention. You should have a Master’s degree in a relevant field and at least seven years of experience in waste movement enforcement, plus excellent English skills. This position is home-based and runs from May 20 to August 29. 🌍📚🔍
