Job Description

The Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms while countering terrorism is seeking a consultant with expertise in counter-terrorism to support the mandate from the UN premises in New York. Your role will involve providing strategic advice, managing essential networks, engaging in discussions surrounding counter-terrorism resolutions, and advocating for the intersection of counter-terrorism and humanitarian law. You’ll represent the mandate, monitor related UN activities, and draft a variety of documents. To qualify, you should have an advanced degree in a relevant field and at least seven years of experience in international law, human rights, or related areas.
