Job Description

The United Nations in Botswana is seeking a skilled Consultant to assist in drafting the Common Country Analysis (CCA). This vital role involves consolidating contributions from UN agencies and national partners to create an independent assessment of Botswana’s socio-economic and political landscape. You will analyze data, conduct interviews, and facilitate stakeholder workshops, drawing insights from various developmental reports and frameworks. The CCA aims to identify challenges and opportunities in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals while addressing systemic inequalities and vulnerabilities. A master’s degree in a relevant field and significant experience in socio-economic analysis are required. Fluency in English is essential, while familiarity with Botswana’s government systems is a plus. 📊🌍📝
