Job Description
The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) is seeking a Data Science Assistant to support the Regional Integration and Trade Division (RITD) in transforming Africa with innovative data solutions 🌍📊. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and acquiring data sources, maintaining socio-economic databases, analyzing globalization trends, and contributing to the development of data science products 🛠️. The position requires strong data analytics skills and a minimum of seven years of related experience, or five years with a relevant university degree 🎓. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of another UN language is a plus. We’re looking for someone who can collaborate effectively, maintain client relationships, and adapt visual presentations of data 🚀.
