Job Description
The Deputy Regional Director is a key role within the Asia and Pacific (APAC) Regional Office, tasked with strengthening relationships with member states and various international organizations to ensure consistent adherence to ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs). 🌏 This position combines technical leadership with administrative responsibilities, including the management of professional staff and coordination of regional technical teams. The Deputy Regional Director leads initiatives for safety and air navigation while facilitating collaboration among diverse stakeholders, contributing to the effective implementation of aviation policies and programs. The role also involves strategic planning, overseeing project activities, and ensuring alignment with global aviation objectives. 🛩️ Fluency in English is essential, and familiarity with a second language is a plus.
