Job Description

As a consultant for the Result of Service, you will conduct an in-depth analysis of land degradation trends and drivers in Central Asia to inform effective interventions 🌱. Your role includes delivering a concise report on the implementation of Land Degradation Neutrality (LDN) in the region and assessing the feasibility of standardized guidelines for LDN assessments 📝. You will develop a science-based platform for data sharing and collaboration on desertification, land degradation, and drought (DLDD) issues, while also proposing recommendations for establishing regional baselines and enhancing decision-making processes 📊. Your expertise will contribute to identifying key challenges and success stories, as well as facilitating regional consultations and creating a practical Handbook for stakeholders 📚. This position is home-based and expected to last from May 25 to November 30, 2025. To qualify, you’ll need advanced education in sustainability or a related field, 15 years of experience, and proficiency in both Russian and English.
