The Director of Mission Support (DMS) plays a key role in the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) based in Juba, a designated non-family duty station. 🌍 Reporting directly to the Head of Mission, the DMS acts as the primary advisor on administrative and technical support matters, ensuring the effective management of human, financial, and physical resources. This involves overseeing various functions such as budgeting, logistics, and human resources to fulfill the mission’s mandate. The DMS collaborates with various stakeholders and components to optimize service delivery, maintain operational efficiency, and support the welfare of mission staff.
