Job Description

As a National Consultant, you will play a crucial role in boosting the ability of national and local institutions in Burundi to integrate risk knowledge into decision-making for early warning and proactive actions, as part of the global Early Warnings for All (EW4All) initiative. You will collaborate closely with the UNDRR team and local stakeholders to operationalize the situation room, ensuring effective data management and coordination for disaster risk reduction, while also supporting the reporting on the Sendai Framework Monitoring. This position is based in Bujumbura for a duration of one year, focusing on advancing inclusive, effective early warning systems and fostering gender-responsive action against disasters. 🌍📊💪
