Job Description
Join us as a Records Management Assistant Intern at the United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) in Brindisi, Italy 🌍! Over a span of 6 months, you’ll play a vital role in improving the management of physical and electronic documents through cataloguing, organizing, and digitizing records 📚. This position also involves maintaining digital records, supporting SharePoint management, and ensuring compliance with UN standards. We welcome candidates who are pursuing or have completed relevant degrees in fields like administration or information management. While prior experience isn’t required, a basic understanding of SharePoint and proficiency in software applications like MS Office is essential 💻. Fluency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of other UN languages is a plus! Please note that interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation, and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions. Interns who are not citizens or permanent residents of the country where the internship is undertaken may be required to obtain the appropriate visa and work/employment authorization. Successful candidates should discuss their specific visa requirements before accepting the internship offer.
