Job Description

The United Nations is offering an internship opportunity within the Economic Analysis and Policy Division (EAPD) in New York, NY, for a duration of 6 months 🌍. As an intern, you will engage with a dedicated team, contributing to research and analysis on global macroeconomic trends and policies while supporting the UN’s flagship publication, World Economic Situation and Prospects (WESP) 📊. Your responsibilities will include conducting literature reviews, performing quantitative data analysis, updating economic models, and assisting with day-to-day tasks 📈. Ideal candidates should be enrolled in or have completed a relevant graduate program, possess strong skills in MS Office and statistical software, and demonstrate fluency in English, while knowledge of another UN language is a plus 🌐. Please note that interns are not financially remunerated, and applicants are responsible for their own expenses.
