The Economic Affairs Officer positions are based in various UN departments, like the Department of Economic and Social Affairs and the UN Conference on Trade and Development, focusing on different economic specialties such as development economics and international trade. Your responsibilities may include developing socio-economic databases, conducting research, analyzing economic trends, and providing valuable inputs for reports and policy proposals. You will also organize meetings, assist in technical cooperation initiatives, and prepare presentations. We seek candidates with advanced degrees in economics or related fields and at least five years of relevant experience, who can communicate effectively in English or French.
