Job Description
The Economic Affairs Officer position at ECLAC in Santiago de Chile involves supporting key projects like the Digital Alliance and Digital for Regional Integration, backed by the European Union and German Cooperation. You will conduct economic analysis, develop databases and interpret models, while also preparing reports and technical papers. Engaging with governments and participating in international meetings will be essential, alongside organizing seminars and supporting expert dialogues on digital policies. The role requires strong professional skills, effective communication, and excellent planning abilities. A Master’s degree in economics or a related field is needed, as well as five years of relevant experience in economic research and policies, particularly in ICT and digital transformation in the Latin America and Caribbean region.
