EXECUTIVE SECRETARY
Job Description
The United Nations Environment Programme (UN Environment) is looking for an Executive Secretary for the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) Secretariat 🌍. This role involves overseeing the Secretariat’s operations and ensuring the effective implementation of global environmental agreements 🌱. You will lead the Secretariat’s activities, manage programs and human resources, and foster cooperation with various stakeholders 👥. Additionally, you’ll engage with non-party nations to promote membership in the Convention while leading the preparation of critical meetings and strategic initiatives 📈. The ideal candidate should hold an advanced degree in relevant fields, possess a minimum of 15 years of experience in environmental work, and exhibit strong leadership and communication skills 🔍.
