Job Description

As a part-time contractor for the Technology Needs Assessment (TNA) project, you will play a crucial role in facilitating climate change adaptation activities in the Agriculture and Water Resources sectors in Eritrea 🌍. Reporting to the TNA Coordinator, your responsibilities will include assessing technology needs, organizing stakeholder meetings, and preparing key reports such as the TNA report, Barrier Analysis and Enabling Framework (BA&EF) report, and Technology Action Plan (TAP) report 🌱💧. You will gather inputs from diverse stakeholders, identify barrier solutions, and develop project ideas to support effective technology deployment. A postgraduate degree in environmental management or a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience are required for this position. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of the local language is a plus. Location: Asmara, Eritrea.
