Job Description

We are seeking a qualified contractor to engage in the Technology Needs Assessment (TNA) process focused on climate change mitigation in Eritrea’s Energy sector 🌍⚡. This part-time role, under the supervision of the TNA Coordinator, involves providing technical services to assess technology needs and generate essential reports, including a portfolio of technologies, TNA, Barrier Analysis and Enabling Framework, and a Technology Action Plan with project ideas. The contractor will be responsible for organizing stakeholder workshops, analyzing barriers, and developing frameworks to facilitate technology implementation. A postgraduate degree in environmental management or a related field, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience and expertise in Energy, is required. Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of the local language is a plus. This position will be based in Asmara, Eritrea. 🌱✈️
