Job Description
The position of Finance and Budget Officer at the United Nations Mission to Support the Hodeidah Agreement (UNMHA) is a vital role based in Amman, where you will report directly to the Chief Finance and Budget Officer. Your responsibilities will include preparing budget proposals, administering resources, and monitoring budget utilization to ensure effective financial management. You will also support program managers with budget implementation, analyze financial transactions, and prepare monthly performance reports. A high school diploma and technical certification in finance or accounting are required, along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the UN system. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of Arabic is a plus. This position is especially suited for proactive individuals with strong analytical and communication skills who are ready to take on additional responsibilities in the absence of senior staff.
