GIS Specialist Consultant

Job Description

The UN-Habitat is looking for a consultant in Bishkek for a 2-month engagement to enhance geospatial data and mapping products that support the organization’s objectives for localizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Under the guidance of the Human Settlements Officer, you will be responsible for assessing and visualizing various spatial datasets, conducting GIS analysis, and creating professional maps that effectively communicate insights to improve urban planning. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in a relevant field, at least two years of experience in GIS and urban development, and fluency in English. 🌍📊 Your contributions will directly impact efforts to promote sustainable cities and enhance local governance in line with UN-Habitat’s mission.
