The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) is looking for a consultant to support the Strengthening Transboundary Collaboration and Capacities on Disaster Risk Reduction and Early Warning System in the Western Balkans initiative. 🌍 This role involves conducting a baseline study, engaging cities in the MCR2030 network, and enhancing risk governance across Albania, North Macedonia, and Serbia. 📊 The consultant will facilitate workshops, coordinate peer learning, and support the development of local disaster risk reduction strategies, while ensuring meaningful collaboration among stakeholders. We are seeking candidates with a Master’s degree or equivalent, at least five years of relevant experience, and fluency in English and either Serbian, Macedonian, or Albanian. 🗣️ This position is home-based and is expected to last for 8 months.
