Job Description

The Human Rights Officer position is based in the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office in Dhaka, Bangladesh, reporting directly to the Senior Human Rights Adviser. The role involves supporting the implementation of international human rights instruments, managing project activities, and fostering relationships with donors to enhance support for human rights initiatives. You will also coordinate with UN and non-governmental organizations to integrate human rights into programs, analyze data to drive decisions, and provide training to junior staff. A master’s degree in law, political science, or a related field and at least seven years of relevant experience are required.
