Job Description
The Individual Contractor for UNCTAD will play a vital role in developing the Vulnerability Profile of Uganda, tackling the country’s unique challenges amid global economic fluctuations and post-pandemic recovery. This remote position, from June 23, 2025, to September 8, 2025, involves gathering current statistical data, analyzing existing reports, and crafting a comprehensive profile to identify both internal and external vulnerabilities for Uganda’s resilience-building. You will also assist in planning a national workshop focusing on Uganda’s graduation process. A Master’s degree in economics or related fields and at least 7 years of relevant experience are required, with prior economic research in Uganda being a plus. Fluency in English is essential. 🌍📊
