Job Description
The Countering Terrorist Travel Section within the Special Projects and Innovation Branch of the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism is seeking an Information Systems Officer to support the technical assistance project aimed at enhancing the capacity of Member States to detect and counter terrorist travel using Advanced Passenger Information (API) and Passenger Name Record (PNR) data. In this role, you will manage project tasks, develop system specifications, provide user support, and conduct system testing, all while collaborating with various international partners. Ideally, you possess a Master’s degree in computer science or a related field, along with a minimum of five years’ experience in information systems. ITIL 4 certification is required, and proficiency in multiple programming languages as well as an understanding of UN systems is a plus. Join us in making a difference! 🌍✈️
