Job Description
Join our team as an Intern in the Archives Management Unit at the UN Library & Archives in Geneva, Switzerland for a duration of 3-6 months! 🌍 This hands-on opportunity allows you to dive into archival processing and reference work while contributing to the metadata for our archives platform. You’ll gain valuable insights into UN agendas and international organizations, all while participating in tasks such as archival description, assisting in the reading room, and re-boxing archives 🗂️. Ideal candidates should be students nearing completion of their Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. programs and should have a strong interest or background in archival processes. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of an additional UN language is a plus!
