Job Description

Join the Europe and Central Asia Section as a human rights intern, where you’ll contribute to the mission of the OHCHR in protecting human rights for everyone. This 3-month internship involves tasks such as compiling information, analyzing key issues, liaising with UN Country Teams and human rights offices, and supporting the organization of missions and events. An advanced degree in international relations, human rights law, or related fields is required, with fluency in English or French being essential; knowledge of Russian is a plus. Please note that this internship is unpaid, and all related travel and living expenses are the responsibility of the intern. Successful candidates should discuss their visa requirements before accepting the internship offer.
