Job Description

Join our team as a Work Location intern at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in GENEVA! 🌍 This 3 to 6 month unpaid, full-time internship offers a unique opportunity to engage with the media, support human rights advocacy, and assist with public information initiatives. You’ll help monitor media coverage, prepare materials for press conferences, and research current human rights issues. To qualify, you should be a final-year undergraduate or a graduate student in fields like law, communication, or social sciences, with no prior work experience required. Proficiency in English is essential, while knowledge of French is a bonus. This internship provides a fantastic chance to contribute to meaningful work within the UN! ✨ Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions. Interns who are not citizens or permanent residents of the country where the internship is undertaken, may be required to obtain the appropriate visa and work/employment authorization. Successful candidates should discuss their specific visa requirements before accepting the internship offer.
