Job Description

As an Intern at the Spanish Verbatim Reporting Section, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the Meetings and Publishing Division, Department for General Assembly and Conference Management (DGACM) of the United Nations, either in person or remotely, for an initial period of 2 months. Get ready to take on a variety of tasks💼such as translating English verbatim records into Spanish🌐, proofreading Spanish transcripts, testing technologies, and other duties according to the needs of the Department. You should have strong skills in professionalism, communication, teamwork, and be technologically savvy👩‍💻. The requisites for applying for this internship are being enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D program. Fluency in Spanish and English is a must, with knowledge of a third UN official language as a bonus.
