The Guided Tours Unit (GTU) of the Visitors Services Section at the United Nations is seeking a dedicated intern 📅 to join our dynamic team in New York City for a full-time, 6-month position starting on October 7, 2025. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with the public by supporting the organization of guided tours, events, and outreach activities that promote the UN’s mission 🌍. This role involves various responsibilities, including conducting research, assisting with office tasks, and creating content for social media. Applicants should be either enrolled in or have completed their university studies and possess strong communication skills in English (with knowledge of other UN languages being a plus) 📚. Please note that this position is unpaid, and interns are responsible for their own living expenses, as well as for securing the appropriate visa, if required.
