Job Description
The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) is seeking an Urban Development and Housing Intern for a 6-month, in-person opportunity in Libreville, Gabon. As an intern, you’ll engage in diverse tasks such as identifying project opportunities, assisting with partner meetings, and supporting urban development initiatives aimed at creating inclusive, resilient, and sustainable cities. This role provides a chance to experience the dynamics of the UN and contribute to critical projects addressing housing and urbanization challenges. A background in fields like architecture, urban planning, or public health is preferred, and fluency in French is essential. Please note that this internship is unpaid, and all personal expenses such as travel and accommodation are the responsibility of the intern. 🌍🏙️📊
