Job Description

The International Consultant – Regional Trade Facilitation Lead will play a key role in enhancing trade facilitation initiatives within the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). This position involves producing monthly progress reports that include detailed mapping, gap analysis, and actionable recommendations for trade facilitation, all validated by the International Trade Centre (ITC). The consultant will engage with various stakeholders, offering strategic guidance, coordinating activities, and ensuring effective communication. The role is home-based and spans four months, with a primary focus on fostering sustainable trade practices while adhering to best practices outlined by the World Trade Organization (WTO).
