The Office of Staff Legal Assistance (OSLA) in New York is seeking a dedicated Legal Officer to provide crucial legal support in administrative, disciplinary, and appellate matters within the United Nations’ internal justice system. This role involves advising clients on appeals against administrative decisions, representing them in tribunal proceedings, conducting legal research, and drafting legal submissions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and negotiation skills, along with at least five years of relevant legal experience, including litigation. A Master’s degree in international law is required, and fluency in English is essential (French is a plus).
