Legal Officer

Job Description

The Legal Officer position is based in the Secretariat for the Framework Convention on International Tax Cooperation, under the Financing for Sustainable Development Office at the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs. The role involves providing expert legal advice and analysis on complex international tax cooperation matters, supporting intergovernmental negotiations, and ensuring alignment with sustainable development goals. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in international law, extensive experience in tax law, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of additional UN languages is a plus. 🌍📜💼
