Job Description

As a consultant for the project “Supporting informed decision making through the DATA for Small Island Developing States (SIDS) initiative (DATAS)”, you will play a vital role in enhancing the capacity of Comoros’ National Statistics Office and the national statistical system. Your main tasks include drafting work plans, managing monthly progress reports, and ensuring effective stakeholder engagement across various governmental and partner organizations. You’ll collaborate closely with the team to improve data governance, integration, and dissemination in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals. This remote position is based in Moroni, Comoros, and involves part-time work from June 15 to December 15, 2025, with possible extensions. 🌍📊 Your qualifications should include an advanced degree in related fields, excellent communication skills in English and French, and experience in project coordination and capacity development. The remuneration will follow UN national salary scales, based on deliverables. ✈️
